On 26th and 27th of September, 2022, the first transnational meeting took place at the Polytechnic University of Tomar within the scope of KreativEU, Knowledge and Creativity European University. The consortium was represented by the Rectors of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Czechia) and the Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University (Turkey), the Vice-Rector of the Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania) and Margarita Bogdanova, Director of the Faculty of Management and Marketing of the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria).

KreativEU is part of the initiative promoted by the European Commission for the establishment of European Universities and its main objective is to promote long-term institutional and strategic cooperation between the various European higher education institutions involved, through the implementation of an educational model competitive and attractive, based on the promotion and assimilation of various cultural traditions, crafts and local and national folklore, from a truly inclusive and European perspective.

During the meeting, the results of the European Commission's evaluation of the ERASMUS-EDU-2022-EUR-UNIV call were discussed and analysed, and it was decided to submit a new application for the next call.
